When you say the word “shoes” in our family, one person comes to mind. Yes, it is this child. I kid you not, when she was just over a year old, she would take my Anthropologie catalogs and go straight to the shoe section and stare at the boots. When her grandmother asked her what she wanted for her birthday, she said “shoes” and landed herself two new pairs of shoes last year. Once in a while, she peeks around the corner of the kitchen and assesses the situation. If she thinks I’m busy doing the dishes, she quietly “disappears” and tries on my shoes. It worries me greatly because she goes straight for the heels. All this commotion about shoes worries her father greatly. Can you imagine the fights these two will get into over shoes? It shall be interesting to see how this story plays out…
Don’t forget to go through the circle and see what the other photographers are up to. Let’s head back east to Maureen Wilson | Mccomb Mississippi Photography and see her interpretation of “shoes”!
