“What is Noah’s favorite fruit?”
Pears
“Did you hear the joke about the watermelon?”
It is pit-i-ful
“What happens when you sit on a grape?”
It gives a little wine.
“Why did the man at the orange factory lose his job?”
He couldn’t concentrate

Haha… nothing like some good old corny jokes to start off the weekend. I took my kids to Avila Valley Barn the other day to get some fruit and vegetables. The place is so wonderful, the kids get to feed the animals, there’s a sweet shop, tractor rides, u-pick… I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone going through the central coast. The cherries looked most enticing to me that day, so I knew as soon as I saw it that it would be my “fruit” photo for this week. They also take the fruit and make pies and jams there. The most famous one in our area is the olallieberry jam. Do you not know what an olallieberry is? Well, it is “a cross between the loganberry and the youngberry, each of which is itself a cross between blackberry and another berry (raspberry and dewberry, respectively).” – Wikipedia. Don’t you feel like your life is much fuller now that you know this fact? Haha… I am tired and this post has turned out to be quite absurd. I think it is better that I move you along to my fabulous friend, Jules Trandem | San Diego Child and Family Photographer and see her take on FRUIT!!
By the way, for those of you starting out in photography, you can tell by the grain in these photos that my ISO was really high. I love it, it looks kind of like film to me. My point is, play with your settings and see what you like.
Have a great weekend, everyone!!
