Fifty-two on Fridays : [31] Funny

“Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world.” ~ Walt Disney

My children have yet to go to Disneyland.  It seems as though SOMEONE is a little more anxious than the rest of us.  One day we shall… hopefully one day soon!!

Can you believe that school is starting here in a couple of weeks? Summers in the central coast start about now, so I feel like we are just hitting the warm weather…  I am actually walking around without a jacket. My plan is to hit the beach with my family this weekend.

I am sure we will chuckle at the photos that will be displayed in our circle this week. Please start with the talented Dallas/Ft. Worth Child Photographer Brenda Acuncius.

Fifty-two on Fridays : [30] Bright Colors

″A traveler without observation is a bird without wings.” ~ Moslih Eddin Saadi

Can you believe that we are 30 weeks into this project? I’m shocked that I’ve kept up this long. This past week, I was extremely busy shooting the Stagecoach Collection for Eden’s Bouquet. This line is “a town & country collection inspired by open fields, train stations, dirt roads and ghost towns.” When I saw this outfit, I knew it just had to be my photo for this week’s theme of “bright colors”.

Unfortunately, not everyone in our original group could continue on with this project.  However, drum roll, I am so excited to introduce you to our newest member, one of my all-time favorite photographers in the world… the one and only BRENDA ACUNCIUS. She is the co-founder of BLOOM WORKSHOPS and FORUM and runs her studio out of Texas. When I first started out, I would stare at her flickr images ALL DAY.  Do you all remember the one of her niece in the brown Matilda Jane dress holding the pink pig with the thunder grey backdrop?  You know y’all know what I’m talking about, lol.  She is the master of getting the studio look to be OH SO NATURAL (this is really hard, people), and I have unsuccessfully tried to imitate her many times. So without further ado, here is Dallas/Ft. Worth Child Photographer Brenda Acuncius.

I am now off to cook chili because the church youth group is coming over tomorrow evening.  Have a great weekend, everyone!!

Stagecoach Collection

I am taking a break from our camping trip series to post this sneak peek of the
Stagecoach Collection by Eden’s Bouquet which will be available for purchase TODAY!!

Leoni Meadows (4) ~ Boating/Wake-boarding/??

This was one of my favorite parts of the trip, boating on Jenkinson Lake.  My husband went wake-boarding and the kids went on this big circle looking thing, I don’t even know what it’s called.  After this part of the trip, all of my friends were talking about how they wanted to buy a boat.  I totally agree, it is just way too much fun!!  Look at my husband’s smile, love it!!

Leoni Meadows (3) ~ Go-Karts

I am telling you, this place had it all.  Go-karts in the middle of the campground, need I say more?  Personally, I think my hubby had the most fun, haha.  He snapped one of me and my daughter, too…
