Fifty-two on Friday : [18] Children

My son’s preschool held a bike-a-thon today. They got pledges from friends and family and then biked around the track to raise money for the school. Those children were so excited to be participating in this event. They had cards on their bike that the judges had to mark for every lap they did. My son ended up doing 22 laps and made a total of $92.20. Needless to say, they were EXHAUSTED by the end. I had so much fun at this event, I felt like a child myself. Every time my son biked a lap, I was cheering like crazy, as if he won an Olympic medal or something, lol. Here are a few more photos…

Many things pop into my head when I hear the word light…

My son, who lights up the room every time he walks in…
My husband, the light of my life who I ADORE because of the way he fights so intensely with my son when they play with their lightsabers…
Because I am a photographer, I have to add sunlight, right?

Our theme this week was “pastel” and I went straight to Easter eggs and cute little dresses. We dyed Easter eggs all week and I even let the little one “find” them around our backyard. It’s the first year she is actually old enough to look for the eggs, so she is “extra” excited!!
